Musically We Roll Along

Welcome to Musically We Roll Along! This is a blog about musicals, plays and all things Broadway, run by a tween (10), a teen (13) and a mom.

Mother (Ragtime reference 😊) fell in love with theatre when she saw Brian Stokes Mitchell in Ragtime’s pre-Broadway run back in 1997. She has probably seen over 100 shows since, though she’s never actually counted.

Teen did a mother-son trip to NYC just before he turned 5 years old. He watched Lion King and Anastasia, where he had the fortune of getting a backstage tour from the leading man.

Tween also saw Anastasia at the age of 4 for her first proper theatre show. She has a Lin-Manual Miranda-themed birthday every year.

Here at Musically We Roll Along, we’re hoping to share all we love about theatre! You’ll be able to find reviews from our different perspectives, and we’ll provide recommendations if you’re thinking of watching a show.

Make sure to check out the rest of our blog to see all you need to know about Broadway!
